NMSU offers companies a wide array of options to establish and enhance their brand on campus.
Traditionally, universities offer career fairs, internships, and company days for student participation. NMSU moves beyond the traditional approach by having executives speak to classes, serve on a New Mexico State university advisory board, and become student group mentors. This continued presence on campus helps build successful relationships with students and faculty.

The Office of the Vice President for Research can provide you information about research units at NMSU, as well as facts and news about what we are doing.
They can also work with you to conduct a dynamic search of faculty members’ research expertise.
Beyond the OVPR, each college can introduce you to the capabilities of faculty, research laboratories, and opportunities to engage students within that college.
Advancing skills the current workforce—from front line personnel to executive management—is evermore critical.
NMSU has a variety of online programs to assist you in meeting those needs.
International and Border Programs at NMSU builds bridges, opens doors, and expands discovery of international life, learning, and engagement for students, faculty and staff.
Establishing international co-ops, connecting to students on campus for capstone classes, managing the mechanics of NMSU faculty, students, and staff crossing borders to visit companies, and more. Those are managed through the Office of IBP.
Intellectual Property & Technology Transfer
The Office of Intellectual Property & Technology Transfer (IP Office) protects, manages, and commercializes the creative products of New Mexico State University.
Its focus is on use and impact: Shaping how NMSU innovations are used and deployed in the wider community. The IP Office is responsible for administering NMSU’s Intellectual Property Policies and for managing NMSU’s IP through activities such as legal protection and compliance with federal guidelines.
Small Business Assistance
The New Mexico Small Business Assistance (NMSBA) program assists for-profit small businesses in New Mexico with technical and/or business challenges.
NMSBA brings the unique resources of New Mexico State University through faculty and staff to assist in a variety of technical and/or business challenges.
Working teams for NMSBA projects are comprised of cross-disciplinary groups of technology entrepreneurs, technical staff, subject matter experts, and inter-disciplinary graduate students to help small business.
Student Groups and Projects
Almost every college on campus has capstone classes designed to conflate what has been learned on campus with the issues confronting organizations off campus. Your participation brings value to student education, for the company an introduction to the future workforce and, perhaps, solutions to challenges being confronted and opportunities to be taken advantage of.
